I serve as an AmeriCorps member with the Boys & Girls Club because the Club model exemplifies some of the values I have regarding youth. It also give me a platform to work with young people in a capacity where I can have a direct impact and, of course, I love working with youth.
"My favorite part about being an AmeriCorps member is seeing the smiling faces of every kid that walks through our door. Another part is the education award because it will help me pay for extra school expenses. AmeriCorps has changed my life in a good way. I always look forward to coming to the Club and working with our kids and being able to assist when they need it the most."
