The Westbank Club was super busy in October and early November.

Our Clubs always have lots of activities going on for our Club members. Recently, the Westbank Club held a family night for Halloween. Club members and their families had a great time together enjoying food, games and fellowship. The Club also held its annual Honor Roll Celebration.
Thank you to Huey P’s Pizzeria for once again hosting our Club members on the honor roll. Club members who had an A or A-B average on their 2016-17 school year final report card were honored; over 65 members were invited to celebrate their accomplishment at Huey P's.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Louisiana's Westbank Club received a $1,000 grant to conduct a Preventive Care Vision Initiative, funded by National Vision, Inc., through America’s Best Contacts & Glasses. The event was held recently at the Westbank Club for Club members. Members received a free eye screening.
To highlight the importance of reading, we recently held a Scholastic Reading
Event for our Club members. Members were able to receive a book signed by the author.
Thank you to Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers at Oakwood Mall & General Manager Sheri Williams for making this experience possible for our members. Our members were given the opportunity to stand with the players during our National Anthem, then were treated to the Pelicans game against the Orlando Magic, with Westbank native Elfrid Payton in attendance.
